Far out on the Arctic ice, the B-29 Superfortress christened, 'Kee Bird ' rested in silence, its engines cold, its story unfinished. Something about that solitude stayed with me. As I painted, it felt less like recreating an aircraft and more like giving voice to a memory suspended in time.

The muted sky, the soft Arctic palette and the delicate lines all echo a sense of hope, hope that once belonged to a Superfortress that never lifted off again. For me, this artwork represents the stubborn spirit of machines that once ruled the clouds, and the quiet beauty of vintage aviation lost to the world.
